Toyota Motor Philippines launches the New ’86

Toyota Motor Philippines launched the New ’86 at the first day of Vios Cup Season 3 Race 3 with refreshed look and more powerful engine.

The legendary ’86 which was first introduced in the country in 2012, has an additional 5hp and peak torque of 7Nm to its 2.0L engine, thanks to direct-injection 4-stroke gasoline or D-4S. It is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The redesigned fascia has a lower bumper, wider front grille, new LED headlamps and fog lamps that gives a modern and aerodynamic look. Continuing on its side, just above the 18” alloy wheels, are the light indicators. New LED taillights and a new bumper are visible that adds to its low and sleek look.

Interior wise, new instrument panel, steering wheel controls with a capacitive touch screen display audio with a mirror link via WiFi function can be experienced for a more convenient drive. Hill-start assist has been added to its safety feature.

Overall, it is a car perfect for fun, comfort, style and giving that extra power for your everyday drive.

With seven colors to choose from: Dark Gray Metallic, Pure Red, Crystal Black Silica, Ice Silver Metallic, Lapis Blue Pearl, Orange Metallic and Crystal White Pearl, the new ’86 is priced at the following points:
