beep™ card starts limited public trial in CAVITEX

AF Payments Inc. announced that it is expanding for the first time to toll ways, with the Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) starting its limited public trial on Monday, August 8.

All types of beep™ tap-and-go cards, including PayMaya beep™ cards will be accepted as payment at CAVITEX for the toll fees of Class 1 vehicles. The fee is P24 if exiting in Parañaque, and P64 if in Kawit.

beep™ cards can be purchased or reloaded at the Parañaque Customer Service Center during the public trial phase.

“Extending the use of beep™ cards as a payment option at CAVITEX represents another step towards making the beep™ card an all-in-one travel card for commuters and even private vehicle owners. We hope that the low cost of the beep™ card (P20) and the wide network of loading options being developed will appeal to drivers who pass along CAVITEX and are interested in passing the toll gates more quickly” said Peter Maher, CEO and President of AF Payments Inc.

The CAVITEX is a 14-km expressway along the coast of Bacoor Bay, south of Roxas Boulevard. This road project aimed to strengthen the commercial link between Metro Manila and the nearby provinces of Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas, as well as ease traffic in major thoroughfares in the south.

Good news! You can now use beep™ card in select Froehlich P2P buses

AF Payments, Inc. announced that starting August 8, Monday, commuters can use their beep™ card to pay for rides in select routes of Froehlich Tours, one of the premium point-to-point (P2P) bus systems in the metro.

Select routes are Trinoma to Glorietta 5 and vice-versa, and SM North EDSA to SM Megamall and vice-versa and the standard fare for these:

Trinoma-Glorietta 5 route – P55
SM North-Megamall route – P40

“This is the first time that we’re implementing the beep™ system for a premium P2P bus line. We hope that commuters enjoy the convenience using beep™ card and the comfort of Froehlich Tours’ modern bus fleet,” said Peter Maher, president and CEO of AF Payments, Inc.

beep™ card can now be used in all seven BGC Bus routes

After a 16-day limited public trial, AF Payments Inc. now officially announced that beep™ card is now accepted in all seven Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Bus routes. The full roll-out happens today, June 27, 2016, Monday.

With the objective of making beep™ an all-in-one travel card for Filipinos, AF Payments Inc. started venturing with other public transportation operators in Metro Manila.

“We want to make going around BGC much easier for workers and other visitors by simplifying the payment system. Now that we are live, the beep™ cards they used in the MRT and LRT can be used to pay for their BGC Bus rides. It’s a win for the commuters,” said Peter Maher, CEO and president of AF Payments Inc.

The beep™ card is a tap-and-go payment system for train and select Metro Manila bus operators. It can be purchased for P20 from all MRT and LRT stations, as well as the BGC Bus Terminal at Ayala and Market! Market! It is reloadable and valid for four years. As of press time, there  are  2  million  beep™  cards  in  use.
