The Gas up on Platinum, Win a Ford promo, which runs until November 14, 2016, will let customers earn one e-raffle entry for every P500 single receipt purchase of Platinum with Techron for a chance to win a Ford vehicle of their choice.

Two grand prize winners can choose to drive home either a brand-new Ford Mustang 2.3L, Ford New Explorer 2.3L, or three Ford Ecosport 1.5L. The lucky grand prize winners will also take home Php 100,000 worth of Caltex Starcash each so they can fill up their brand new cars with the new and improved Caltex Platinum with Techron featuring the new Clean and Glide Technology.

To join, customers only need to register once at www.CaltexGasUpOnPlatinum.com with their name and contact details, and submit the promo code printed on the promo slip when they gas up at participating Caltex service stations nationwide within the promo period. Only Caltex Platinum purchases are eligible for this raffle promo. For every succeeding e-raffle entry, the customer has to submit the new promo code.

Minor prizes will also be given away during four (4) weekly draws starting on the first raffle date, October 28. Five lucky winners will each take home Php 5,000 in cash every week. The grand draw that will determine the two winners of Ford cars will be held on November 18.

Caltex opens 80th 7-Eleven store, gives a special treat at participating stations

Chevron Philippines Inc., the marketer of the Caltex brand, along with Philippine Seven Corporation, has opened its 80th 7- Eleven convenience store in San Mateo, Rizal last May 30, 2016.

To celebrate the milestone, Caltex is giving 7-Eleven Every Day Rewards! members a special treat at the 80 Caltex stations with 7-Eleven stores. Starting June 22, every single receipt fuel purchase with an Every Day Rewards! card of PHP1,000 at participating Caltex stations gives the registered member a free 16Oz Gulp and Big Bite.

Here’s how:

1. Every Day Rewards! card members will be invited to fuel at Caltex stations with a 7-Eleven store.

2. When they make a single receipt purchase of PHP 1,000 and present their Every Day Rewards! card, they will get an SMS on their registered mobile phone containing a special code.

3. Customers can then present this code at any 7-Eleven store to claim a Big Gulp and Big Bite hotdog sandwich.

The promotion will run from June 22 to August 16. Redemption at 7-Eleven is until October 15.

Chevron PH offers Free Scaffolding Installation Training to the Youth

Scaffolding installation is classified as a high-risk specialized occupation in other countries, hence, the high demand for certified workers in the global labor market. With this, Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, has a new demand-driven skills training program with a job placement component in its host community of San Pascual, Batangas.

CPI, Hinch Tech and the American Chamber Foundation Philippines Inc. (ACF) saw the need for livelihood in the community and the mismatch between job needs from industrial employers versus available skills in the job market that’s why these organizations have created the program called “Caltex TOOLS (Training in Occupational Opportunities for Life Skills)” that addresses the gap between supply and demand both here and abroad for highly-skilled scaffolders by providing free technical and values training to qualified disadvantaged youths. This is one of the undertakings of Chevron’s Energy for Learning Initiative.

With a glut of training on welding and automotive mechanics, the TOOLS project partners decided to focus on a livelihood training that offers higher pay for its beneficiaries.

The program targets at least 100% of its graduates employed within six months following the completion of the course. San Pascual municipality, where Hinch Tech is located, and adjacent Batangas City are home to vibrant shipping, energy, and transport industries where TOOLS graduates can readily ply their trade.

More unique components of Caltex TOOLS are the job tracking and values training such as financial management and work ethics courses offered by ACF to ensure a more well-rounded development for the trainees.
